The duet came out in November 2006 at a classical guitar competition-festival in Belgorod City, as the guests of the festival they were invited to take part in the evening concerts. January 2007 Jury Aleshnikov and Anon Glushkin as members of the 24 strings quartet won the first prize at a prestige International Competition Guitar Virtuoso in St.-Petersburg. December 2007 brings them the first prize of an International Competition of Classical Guitar Performers Tabula Rasa in Volgograd City. May 2008 the duet became a prize winner (лауреат) of Guitar + International Competition in Odessa, Ukraine. The duet has performed several concerts in different cities of Russia and Ukraine. The repertoire includes music of various styles and epochs from renaissance to avant-garde. One of the most complicated pieces Cote Nord by one of the leading French composers and guitar players Roland Diens was performed in Russia for the first time by Duo Sonore. At the moment the duet continues its creative work in St. Petersburg. |
